My name is Anthony, I'm 18 years old and I've been living in a van for a couple of weeks with my girlfriend, Kacie, and our dog, Richard.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is expensive, even if you're sleeping in a van every night to save on motels. I joined so that we might be able to have a few nights during our roadtrips where we can crash on someone's couch (or the floor. I slept on the floor for a year before leaving home because I liked it) and maybe take a quick shower before getting back on the road.

Interests

Living in a van, we obviously love travelling and camping, and I think hiking is something just fits in with those. We happen to enjoy being barefoot as much as we can, it just feels better than wearing shoes once you've been doing it for long enough. Both of us are vegan, although we don't feed Richard a vegan diet. I'm straight edge, which means I don't smoke, drink, or do any other kind of drug. Kacie is not, but she's very respectful of non-smoking/no drinking rules. Movies and music are a big part of both of our lives.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite genre is pop punk, but I like other kinds of music like reggae, rap, and movie soundtracks. Kacie likes the same stuff, except she like rap and hip-hop more than I do and she doesn't have Danny Elfman on her phone.

I feel like this section is asking for stories we could potentially tell you, so I'll provide a couple of vague options. Our best stories would probably include our story as a couple and the time we bought the van.

I don't like to share much with people who don't ask for the information I have. If you're curious about any aspects of our lives, I highly encourage you to ask about it, because I would be more than willing to share! I'm not the kind of person who will trap you in a conversation about things you couldn't care less about, though.
