Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None really. At least not through this website. I spent some time sleeping on my teaching partner's sofa when I was an EFL teacher in Hradecs Kralove, Czech Republic. And I've hosted a few couch surfers over the years: A roommate's friend for a couple months in Prague. A student who came up to Seattle from Santa Barbara to see a Radiohead concert (and I went to the concert with him... It was awwweeesooomme!). Growing-up, my family always took in friends, 3rd cousins and such for short - long stints. Hospitality's in my blood.

Currently I am very interested in graphic design. But generally creative expression of all sorts capture my attention.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently: The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Game of Thrones, Vikings... I wouldn't call myself a Trekkie, but I'm really looking forward to the next one coming out in May. I like all kinds of music...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmmm... years ago, inspired by books such as The Celestine Prophecy and Conversations with God, The Secret, etc.,... I set out on a adventure which began with something a bit stonger than a hunch and a one way ticket to Amsterdam... which led to a journey to Malmo, Sweden where I spent 9 months at a dance school... later a few dream jobs and (this is the short short version) ultimately a deep-set knowledge that whatever you want to call that thing that life has evolved from or was create by or exists in back of all things... it's Responsive. But, these days I'm not so inclined to talk about the details of this adventure. I am more inclined to be the kinda of person capable of inspiring this sort experience in someone else.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've found that I'm am able to learn something new from most anyone... and I'm finding that I mostly benefit when people I meet teach me a thing or two about myself.
