About Me

Bristol seems a very popular destination - i imagine that's why i get so many requests to stay .
I'd like to encourage more people over 40 to consider travelling this way, as it's fun and loads more interesting than staying in a hotel. As the 20- 30 age range have an over abundance of options to choose from, i would like to reserve my offer for the over 40s.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am intending to move to Spain in the near future and would like to make links with other like minded people.
Interested in living in a semi-self sufficient, sustainable, intentional community somewhere in the countryside. Looking to move possibly to Granada and the surrounding area but fairly flexible. If you know of anyone selling an old run down farmhouse or involved in an Eco Aldea or similar, do drop me a line.

Ecclectic choice of music, independent world cinema and books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Parachute out of an airplane to overcome my fear of heights.
Getting 'hijacked' by Russian authorities whilst flying with Afghan airways, years ago.

Teach, Learn, Share

Willing to teach, learn, share whatever's going.
Anything visual and applied arts related particularly floats my boat.
Love the outdoors, wild swimming, interior design, comedy, a generous spirit and a positive attitude.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A bottle of wine, cup of tea, evening meal, walk around town, explore local sights. Open to suggestions.
