About Me

I am now, officially, a workaholic. Not complaining too much because I love my job but currently, my life revolves around work. Aside form that I am a simple person, sort of a foodie, techie, wannabe adventurist and I love all animals. I love learning new things, especially sciencey stuff, I love to teach and volunteer. I love meeting new and interesting people. I can empathize and listen to one's views on topics weather, I agree or not. Once I have the time, I like a nice chat with someone over a cold beer and some soft music in the background. I am not a nightclub kind of person but I will go to one every now and again once I have the company and the funds. While I enjoy the city life, I still have an affinity for the serene.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like adventure and travel but I do not have the funds. Couchsurfing looks like a very nice hub to quell some of my fears and actually get out there. I heard about the theory behind couchsurfing before but I never made the first step to going somewhere. Also, it was featured on Tomislav Perko's Ted Talk so it looks legit. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I can listen to all kinds of music. Favourite genre is gothic rock however. Favourite movies are action/adventure that keeps you guessing like Inception, and especially those that invoke strong emotions like Black November. I do not know what my favourite book is. I haven't read out a lot of books but the few that stand our are the Harry Potter series, To Kill a Mocking Bird, Virus, a few text books and so on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited Iwokrama, Kaiteur and Orinduke falls recently. If you ever come to Guyana, those three are a great way to start your adventure.
