About Me

Finished university may 2014 and have been traveling here and there since.

HAPPY. POSITIVE. OPEN-MINDED.

I love to learn new things & meet new people & find both things fascinating.

I love the world I live in & try to do my best in being eco-friendly, although I know i still have lots to improve.

I am an only child but have lots of brothers & sisters that I love very much: MY FRIENDS. I would not be the person that I am today if it weren't for each & every one of them.

"To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all." - Oscar Wilde

PHILOSOPHY

I'll sum it up as much as I can in quotes that I love, hope you enjoy them as much as I do:

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it. -” Mother Theresa

Life is like riding a bicycle - in order to keep your balance, you must keep moving. - Albert Einstein

€œNobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending. -” Maria Robinson

€œOur attitude toward life determines life's attitude towards us. - John N. Mitchell

€œBe yourself; everyone else is already taken. -” Oscar Wilde

Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional. - Buda

If you're going to be passionate about something, be passionate about learning. If you're going to fight for something, fight for those in need. If you're going to question something, question authority. If you're going to lose something, lose your inhibitions. If you're going to gain something, gain respect and confidence. And if you're going to hate something, hate the false idea that you are not capable of your dreams. - Daniel Golston

CHANGE does not happen when circumstances improve, change happens when you decide to improve your circumstances. You are what you make of yourself :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Many.. from people who are just passing by to having someone stay for a month from hosting only 1 to having like 6 or 7 & going crazy while making everyone feel at home.. from back-packers to people on trailer homes who only need our showers, from people who travel alone to people with their dog, from people in their 20's to people in their 50's .. from the nicest people to the most random ones.. & so on, but in general, all good experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are so many! I think if I had to choose 1.. it would be "The Power of Now".

Cannot just pick 1 artist or movie.

"Music is enough for a lifetime, but a lifetime is not enough for music." -” Sergei Rachmaninov

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee jumping in the Caribbean.

Backpacking through Europe with my best friends.

Scuba diving.

Suddenly moving to Buenos Aires in 2015 (literally, like I decided, bought my ticket the next day and about a month later I was on my way..)

Swimming with whale sharks.

Meditating in the amazing energy of Machu Picchu.

Life in general is pretty amazing. It's all the little things that add up.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English or Spanish (or help practice either one).

I can teach/guide Mindfulness meditations.

I'd like to learn/practice Portuguese.

I love learning about anything, really. As long as the person is passionate about sharing, I'm happy to listen.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Share.. Everything! Home, bathroom, kitchen, pool, good times, good talks, experience, stories, joy.. Even my kitten! (She's super social and friendly).

We give towels for those who don't bring any, and we give you your own set of keys while you are here. Keep in mind that this is a great vow on our side towards you being trust-worthy, please prove us right and be responsible with them :)

We're always happy to give you tips or info about the city and things to do, but it's easier if you have an idea of what you're up to or if you look it up a little before you get here! (Some may think it isn't necessary to clarify this, but you'd be surprised..)
