ABOUT ME

Good people, good food, good wine and good music is what I am all about. We want to feel the buzz of the city and the culture, the outdoors, learn Spanish, cook with locals. The beach, kayaking or anything to do with water is my element. I am definitely a people person who likes putting myself out there, addicted to travel and the change that comes with it. Mike is down to earth and fluent in Spanish, enjoying good cuisine and museums wherever possible.

Experience of life is what we are looking for, and growth on a personal level. We love meeting new people, are open minded, and try to learn as much as we can along the way from the skill sets, travel experiences or point of view that people have to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

On our journey around the world we are very chilled out people that are clean, friendly and independent. We plan to return the favour in our house one day (when we can afford our own house in Auckland!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience in Melbourne, Epic. I have done the same in the USA, Canada and now my partner Mike and I are looking for sweet places in Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras, with Spain on the list later 2014.

Interests

I enjoy kayaking, art, wine writing, food and recipes, hospitality, music, good vibes on our paradise waiheke island. Mike likes the beach, studying Spanish, keeping fit and talking about intellectual subjects. We want to meet new people and make them feel good, returning the favour of many a kindness that has been graced upon us here in Mexico so far.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My balloon ride over the vineyards in Sonoma Valley, California was beautiful, Grand Canyon by helicopter, Dog sledding in Lake Louise. Lots more experiences to add to this list. I am just a young grasshopper in the world of travel.
