ABOUT ME

I grew up on the countryside near the second smallest city of Austria. It is a pitoresque village surrounded by the Alps and I'm always exited when I go back home to visit family. I am now studying English and Frech in Vienna, which is for me the best city in the world. Nevertheless, I love traveling, meeting new people and sharing adventure stories

I have lived and worked in England, France and Switzerland as an Au pair, a waitress or a German teacher. I have visited relatives in Australia, Singapore and Nicaragua, I studied a year abroad in Reunion Island and got to visit Mauritius, Madagascar and South Africa. I try to visit my friends around Europe as much as I can, but my new adventure is academic life at the University of Chicago and discovering the United States.

I've played the clarinette for 10 years and used to be part of a local orchestra. Now, my free time is mostly dedicated to sports, such as rock climbing, skiing, snowboarding and scuba diving. And of course on going out with my friends!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In Vienna I regulary go to language exchanges and found a great tandem partner via couchsurfing. In Nottingham I'v been to a couple of couchsurfing meetings, where I found great friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was hosted by lovely people in Brighton, Paris and Lille and meet great people at various couchsurfing meetings.

Hicked up an active vulcano in Nicaragua
Dived to a wreck in Madagacar and crossed a shark
Climed up a 3000m mountain in the middle of the night to see the rise in the Indian Ocean

I'm good at cooking and can teach you how to make Apfelstrudel or nother austrian dishes.
