We are Barbara and Thomas from Belgium🇧🇪. We are 36 and 37 years old.

CS is like traveling in our own home. It is inspiring to meet people from abroad and different lifestyles. We always learn something new from our guests.

Next to traveling, we enjoy scubadiving and delicious food. Barbara likes taking pictures and is learning gardening 👩🏻‍🌾🌻. Our garden is a bee and eco friendly.

Our two cats (Eva and Pippa) are the ladies of our home. They are very sweet and are friends with everybody.

Our home is in the centre of Kortrijk. From here it is easy to travel to Lille (France), Brugge, Gent, Brussels and Ieper. Lots of highways are crossing here and it is very easy to reach by train.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is for us a great way to connect with people from different countries and cultures. We love making new friends from all over the world.

It is great to exchange travel stories, learn about different travel styles, and get inspired for our next adventure.

For us, is not just about finding a free place to stay. It's also about sharing meals and drinks. We absolutely love to cook together with our guests, if time allows.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Please do not smoke inside.

- be mindful with water and electricity. Turn of the lights if you are not in the room and don’t spoil water.
- please don’t start making noise in the middle of the night.

If you come by bike 🚴 :
- we can not store bikes inside the house. Keep in mind that bikes will have to stay on the street. The neighbourhood is very safe and we can provide you a lock if needed.
