ABOUT ME

I think I'm an (of course) open-minded, (often but not always ;-)) sociable and out-going person who loves to discover new places and get to know new people, laugh and have company, although I can be quite a couch potatoe and nerd too :)
I usually don't like mainstream things (when it comes to clothes/bars/music), have my own style and hate people who judge others by their looks or superficial things like their origin, job or whatever. I don't really go out regularly anymore but I enjoy live music, discovering new cafés or restaurants, meeting people for a drink or walk. :)

I love spending time with my dog - he is very friendly and pretty much loves all people. Walking through woods and fields and spending time with him is just the perfect way for me to relax after a long day at work.
I'm into music and subcultures (punk/ska/psychobilly/rockabilly), small festivals, discussions on any kind of stuff, games (in or outside, board and video games - e.g. for outdoor games kubb and munchkin as a card game), foreign languages (my job), the internet (mainly to get to know new people and stay in touch with friends), flea markets, travelling (like everyone here I guess), films, reading, coffee, healthy eating, preferably vegetarian (I love to discover new receipes) - but sometimes fast food will do, too.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By hosting and being hosted, by offering advice when i can, by infecting others with the wonderful spirit of couchsurfing.
We have moved to Wachtberg about 1,5 years ago and will not be able to show you a lot, but maybe we can discover a few things together or help you if we can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met many really nice, open and fun people by hosting and surfing - for me it's a wonderful way to get to know people from all around the world and to see how wide-spread the thought of hospitality is :) I'm looking forward to experience more!
I met so many great people, especially my month in France was an amazing period of my life - I met so many nice, fun, generous, open-minded and -hearted people, it was a wonderful time!
