Hmmmm ... what to tell you about me ...
Well I think I will keep it simple ;)
I feel that I have had the luck in my life, to have had the chance to experience many many things and jet there is so much more to come and see. I enjoy spending time with other people and sharing experiences. To discover new places and new cultures gives me great joy. I think I am a easy going person that you can have a lot of fun with but in the same time I do love serious conversations ;)

PHILOSOPHY

The way is the goal!
To travel is not only my passion but my motivation in life, no matter if I am hitch hiking through the world, go to work with projects somewhere in the bush or am on field trips with my students.
I believe if we want to understand ourself, our home, the people and the world around us we need to walk around with wide open eyes and pay attention to the small and big things around us. So everything counts ... so yes, every step of the way influences who we are & shapes our life and shouldn't that be the goal all along!?!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been using CouchSurfing for some time now, in the beginning I have been using it over a friends profile, now I have my own for already a little while. CouchSurfing has surely enriched my travel life and put fantastic people across my path.
So yes I am a CS'er by heart and can not imagine to ever stop ;-)

Hitching with my daughter through Europ (her first hitching experience)
