ABOUT ME

My name is Becky and I am a nurse at one of the busiest Level 1 trauma centers in the US. I love my job and the people I work with but I have always wanted more from life. I think my parents gave me the travel bug when I was just a small child and they packed us up and moved us to Singapore. I've wanted to see the world since. I love hanging out with my friends and family, but as I get older I realize we have different goals. Of course one day I want a family and such but for now I want to travel. A dream would be to sell all my things and travel for a full year around the world. I love to people watch so visiting others cultures and learning about their lives is exhilarating for me. I love trying foreign foods...even when they aren't good just to say I tried it. I'm pretty laid back and don't get upset by much. My job teaches me patience everyday and to not judge so quickly as I might have in the past.

PHILOSOPHY

As I am a huge over thinker, I try to remind myself daily that someone out there probably has it worse. I take it day by day and sometimes I am a little irrational. I like being sporadic and a lot of my travels have resulted from those actions...they never cease to amaze me however. I live my life to serve others and sometimes I forget to be selfish for myself at times. I think working hard pays off and being kind is a must. Laugh a lot and enjoy the small things.
