About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Researching Occam's Sword

ABOUT ME

I see myself as a creator in art, geometry, and metascience. I enjoy reading and conversation about the same. I paint in the spirit of Francis Bacon, using his methodologies. I create non-Euclidian geometries and apply them to chemistry. I explore the implications of Occam's sword to discover and invention in science.

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe demi diem! ;) To create is sublime and as close to divinity as I'll ever come.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Friends and family so far.

Interests

In the arts, I'm interested in: painting, sculpting, architecture, landscaping, conceptual art and photo-shopping conceptual art. Interseted in theoretical chemistry, mathematical chemistry, pure applied geometry, and metascience (defined as the science of science).

Music, Movies, and Books

Too numerous to enumerate, but my favorites are:

Godel, Esher, Bach by Douglas Hoffstadter.
Cracking Creativity, Sparks of Genius (13 Thinking Techniques of Geniuses).
The Power of Myth by Joseph Campbell.
The Brutality of Fact: Interviews with Francis Bacon by David Sylvester.

Right now, general reading in the history of science, especially physics and chemistry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Developed the concept of synergy and dysergy in structural chemistry. Withdrew Occam's Sword from the Philosopher's Stone.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm curious and open to whatever opportunities present themselves. I'll be happy to show you how to make a polyhedra! :)
