ABOUT ME

I go stir-crazy if I have to live in the same place more than 6 months without traveling. I never want to hold a normal job again, and so far I'm making that happen. I think people need to learn how to embrace being apes: we're social, physical, intellectual, and communal, and it seems like almost everyone is missing something at least one of those areas, and I want to inspire everyone I meet to to find it and fulfill it. I know I probably mention it too many times on this page, but gosh I love to dance.

PHILOSOPHY

You and me, baby, ain't nothing but mammals/so let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel.

That is, we humans are just another kind of ape, and we need to be more of a part of the environment than separate from it. This includes acknowledgment of our inherent silliness and desire to have good, clean fun-there's no shame in nearly anything.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted dozens of people through just casual connections, rather than through couchsurfing.org. I have couchsurfed on a few people's places, but only once through couchsurfing.org.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in Pittsburgh in summer 2010 at MathFest, which is the only time that I have done so through this website. I've stayed on numerous couches through just personal connections, mostly America and Northern Europe.

兴趣

I'm huge into dance. I have taught a few people some moves, danced competitively a bit, and mostly just really enjoy doing it with anyone else who is enthusiastic, regardless of your experience level. I love comic books, adventures, and exploring jungles-concrete or vegetable.
