ABOUT ME

We like making new friends. Our kids are currently "addressless" and we'd like to meet more people like them that have dreams for their future. They've encouraged us to open our home and be a blessing to those that are passing through - which sounds like a lot of fun! We're relaxed and flexible as a rubber band - working on being 'fluid'...

PHILOSOPHY

I am loved by the Creator of the Universe and so it seems natural to share love with one another. There's so much of it to share!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We understand that to 90% of the world, we have been blessed beyond imagination! As empty nesters, we'd like to share this large home with interesting people passing through.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I traveled with a band for 3 years in the 70's we were hosted in people's homes wherever we played in 36 states on our 25,000 mile tour per year. We've hosted 2 different CS'ers recently and had a wonderful time! looking forward to our next one!

Interests

I love reading, playing card games, and music. We're involved with the music side at our local congregation - which is operating outside of traditional "churchianity". I am aware that I have a Biblical world-view and enjoy learning how to listen and communicate well with folks coming from both the same and especially other perspectives. We enjoy the journey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Holding my baby girls (now 28 & 30). Climbing Dude Mountain & Ziplining in Alaska & WV. White water rafting the New River in WV this summer. Starting a new career at 50. Waking up today, again - grateful.
