About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"a wise man travels to discover himself"

ABOUT ME

At first I’m your typical American girl. I love BBQ, football, shopping, brunch with my friends, and anything outdoors. But then there's a dad's worst nightmare where I jump into cars for random roadtrips, buy a one way ticket to SEA, and think about any way to venture off to a new world!
I try to stick with exploring my hometown for now. Moved to Chicago 3 years ago and love it so much! I work as a travel agent for Destination Weddings. This provides flexibility for fun adventures, next trip on the horizon is
South America. If anyone has suggestions on those places please let me know :)

PHILOSOPHY

"The traveler see what he sees. The tourist sees what he came to see.â

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Growing up my family always hosted foreigners in our home, whether it be through couchsurfers or a study abroad program for students during the summer months. I will refer you to my parents if you need a place to stay. Personally, I love to participate by going to events and meeting up with travelers abroad.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Six years ago I traveled to Europe with my mom and dad. My mom was the one who found couchsurfing, and thought we should give it a try.
The people we met in Germany and Italy were very kind. It was nice staying with people who live in that country because they can tell you and show you parts of the culture.
From then couch surfing became a part of my life. I’ve used it in USA, Europe, Central America, and Asia during my travels. I still have many friends that I met through this website.

Interests

Art and architecture. I could spend hours photographing a scene I found interesting.
Culture. And that involves food, music, fashion.
Adrenaline. Anything exciting or dangerous I’m down to do! If there is a story that can come of it, I will do it.
