About Me

Hi, I'm a calm woman, but at the same time I always try to be on the move and do new things. I like traveling and meeting new people and new cultures. I love going out with friends, talking, eating, drinking a coffee or a caipirinha and dancing, going to the cinema, reading, playing sports, especially in contact with nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I met Couchsurfing in Mexico City when a friend where I was staying took me to a meeting at the Arena of Mexico to watch lucha libre. When I came to my city I decided to attend the meetings here and I have met a lot of interesting people, trained languages and shared about travel and culture.

I love sharing experiences, both listening and talking about them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like everything in this sphere, I do not label much, it depends a lot on my moment, but there are some that stand out:

Music: I love Brazilian music and jazz and there are two singers who won my heart: Amy Winehouse and Tulipa Ruiz. I love dancing forró and zouk, I also risk bachata, samba and salsa.

Movies: I love independent cinema, Brazilian cinema, French cinema, Spanish cinema and I like Pedro Almodóvar, but I watch blockbuster movies too, without labels. I participate in some movie clubs here in Fortaleza.

Books: I read about everything, I really enjoyed Cien Años de Soledad by Gabriel García Marquez.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All my travels have something incredible, but some things I remember are:

- My first trip out of my city was by bus, Fortaleza (CE) - Curitiba (PR), were three days on the road (3,487.4 km)

- I already went to a nudist beach in Tambaba (PB)

- I was able to enter the radio of a program that I liked very much (Pânico na Jovem Pan) by much insistence and ended up giving interview, I had my days of fame in the college :D

- Taking a truck ride in the interior of Maranhão when traveling for work

- Learn to surf in Pipa (RN)

- Fly paragliding in Pacatuba (CE)

- Knowing a beach in the interior of Ceará where everyone is from the same family

- Miss my flight back to Panama from Mexico, stay two days at the airport and get back for free to Brazil (this story is long)

- Being scratched by a katana in Iguazu Falls and having to take 10 anti-rabies vaccines

And in general have greater contact with nature and animals (fish, dolphins etc), this is always something magical!
