About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to intertwine my life with ebb and flow of the river....

ABOUT ME

My father worked for Parks Canada and I spent the majority of my life living in national parks, I have moved and lived in many different parts of Canada. I love the feel of a good community. I'm professional procrastinator who is enjoys going outside, and avoiding all those things in life that you are "supposed to do" (me and my girlfriend always joke about being professional procrastinators) essentially i enjoy living life, whitewater kayaking on the home river, long canoe trips, hanging out with my dog, kite skiing, and the usual fun outdoor stuff.

I'm also fascinated by arctic locations and travel. I've been living in Northern Canada since I was a kid and have lived and traveled across the circumpolar world (Greenland, the three northern teritories in Canada Yukon, NWT, Nunavut, Alaska, Norway, Svalbard, Sweden, Finland)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

someone can stay at my house..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had some good ones now, went to Yellowknife 2 years ago, and met some great people. Had a fantastic Aussie come move to the NWT spend 2 months living in Smith.

Had some kayakers, and some great francophones stay this year. Also got to meet some very like minded people in Alaska.

And I'm looking for more.

Interests

Wow, I haven't really looked at what I had written here in a while. Its amazing how in just one and a half years your life can take on a totally different spin.

Well here goes "my interests," are likely to be totally different in another year so I'll put something timeless.

Nothing better in life then good conversation and a bowl of soup.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to put here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A lot of crazy stuff, I'll tell you about it in person some time.
