ABOUT ME

I love nature, little adventures and challenges, foreign countries and cultures...I like the feeling of being free and being able to change my life completely should I have the feeling of not being happy anymore. I belong to the kind of people who don't just live day by day, go to work because that's what you do..., but I sometimes pause and ask myself "does that lifestyle you got right now, really make you happy?" and I have the expectation to myself to find "my way", which is not easy at all sometimes :-) After finishing my studies in Germany I was living in Central America and the Caribbean and enjoyed being able to spend most of the time outdoors, in nature. Back in Germany I try keeping up my Caribbean habits as much as possible, spending lots of time outdoors hiking, trekking, climbing, swimming and exploring!I love my life and all the little details that makes every place and every person special!

PHILOSOPHY

Realize: that your life is truly your life...it belongs to you...it is your story to write...day by day, line by line...write it well!

Life is one big journey! Never stop being curious, never stop learning, find out what makes you happy and dont forget what life really is about!

I prefer a simple lifestyle, I don't owe a lot of material stuff and I try to give materialistic things not too much importance. Mostly it's the small things that make me happy!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy all the varieties CS offers: hosting, surfing and meeting other CSers on local events.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is lifechanging, it is great to meet people who think similar than you do,...suddenly i got the feeling "hey, you are not THAT weird. there are others in this world like you" :-) And it is overwhelming how strangers can become friends within a few days and to experience how quickly you can not only feel comfortable but truly connect with people who grew up totally different than yourself ...one world.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

...the inner peace i had watching a great sunrise in Pantanal in Brasil,...the power of nature and excitement I felt catching my very first wave on a surfboard...

But the MOST amazing thing probably was: selling (almost) everything I possessed after my studies and leaving Germany with a oneway ticket. Experiencing the sensation of owning almost nothing but feeling totally free and rich, ...and realizing that you have to get lost to find yourself during travelling.
