ABOUT ME

I am married to Anna and have 3 children. They are now 18, 20 and 22 years old, so we are only 3 left in our house. We also have a little sweet cat called Siri.
We live in Motala a city with 35.000 people, just beside the big lake Vättern. We live near the lake so we often take a walk along the seaside in the forest.
When we are free from work we like to go for a picnic or take our caravan and drive to nice places. We also have a sailingboat at the coast so in the summer we spent a week or two sailing.

PHILOSOPHY

To travel is to experience so many nice places on the earth, and to meet new friend, even if we are different.
There is a lot to learn, and to see things in a new and different way. You always learn a lot on a journey.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have read articles and heard about CS before, but when a friend told us that she just joined we got very interested. So we google and started to read and became very enthusiastic. At the same time we where planning a trip to Australia so we like to try to surf there.

We love to travel and to meet people so this sounds great!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This summer we had our first experience of Couchsurfing and it was great. We stayed in 2 different homes in Australia and had a really good time. Fantastic to meet new people this way.

Intereses

Sailing at the swedish westcoast.

Soaring. Mats is a member of a little soaring-club in Motala, and love to see the world from the sky.

Travelling. We have been to nearly every country in Europe, and some in Africa. We have also been to Thailand.
When the kids where young we drove with our car and caravan or sometimes tent to different countries in Europe. This trips was exiting and good for the family.

Nature. We like walking, and take a forestwalk nearly every day.

Mats likes motors, so he spend sometimes a lot of time in the garage, doing some mechanic-works with the car.

Música, películas y libros

We like to go to the movies but it does´nt happen to often. Anna is a member of a movie-club and they show films which isn´t so big.
We are not a musc-couple but like to listen to others who play. Our children plays a bit piano and guitar.
To read is to rest. When we are tired we often take time to read a good book.
