About Me

After long journey, I'm back in the States. I'm moved in to the new apartment, and have some minor cleaning up. I work Monday through Friday 9-5, so I'm free to show people around or whatever outsider of those times.

I do have a car and can pick people up, but it's a Mini so not a ton of space. (Photo in my photos so you can spot me if I pick you up)

In June 2017 I lost my job, so I began to focus on school. In September I was offered to stay with my grandparents in India. I arrived in November. I've seen a decent amount of the country.

On my trip back home in May - June 2018, I travelled to Vietnam, Indonesia, Australia, and New Zealand. I met great people along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Get to meet new people and share our experiences.

Interests

I really just want to explore the cultures and get to know locals everywhere I travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

Avid reader and movie-goer
My favorite book(s) is the Hitchhiker's Trilogy by Douglas Adams.
Currently reading: Magpie Murders by Anthony Horowitz, one of the many new Star Wars novels, and Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts.
I'm really big into the comic book and Star Wars movies (even though the DC ones have been disappointing).
I listen to any music except country, but if that's your thing I won't have a problem. Mostly I listen to 90s alt-rock or metal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been skydiving several times, was working on getting my license. That had to be put on hold due to a car accident, but will be resumed within the next year or so.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've worked in tech support for a decade so I know how to fix most computers and mobile devices, and if I can't fix it I know how to figure it out.

I've spent the last few months learning about Indian culture in more depth. My mother was born there, but it was my first experience with the country.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Talk about anything from comics to anime to politics to sports.
I try to stay up to date on international news, but I may not know as much as I should.
Currently, I'm trying to learn how cricket is played.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Canada, England, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

India, Japan, United States
