About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a Sound Designer and Engineer living in the greater Philadelphia area. I'm very laid back, and I have a strong passion for what I do.

I love to hike, bike, and go for early morning walks with my pup. I also like getting lazy and taking cozy naps with her (she is an Australian Shepard), or watching a great film when life demands a break.

I am a Musician, a Thinker, a Lover, a Friend, and I enjoy time with myself just as much as I do with others. I constantly enjoy educating and challenging myself. I believe in living to your fullest potential and bringing out the best in those around you.

PHILOSOPHY

I am you…and likewise...We are an iota of a piece of a puzzle in a magnificent scheme of consciousness that we call everything we know and understand, and the fantastically romantic relationship it all operates in.

A wise man by the name of Albert Camus once said "Live to the point of tears"... he was right.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing to further my connection with potential opportunities and people I've yet to meet around the world.

As a guest, I want to meet new people in places I've never been. I want to bring a little piece of my life and culture into theirs, and take a little piece of theirs back with me.

As a host, I want to meet people from all over the world, share experiences, and learn about other cultures.

Interests

My interests lie heavily in music (I play alto sax). I also enjoy photography, cinematography, nature, and learning in general.

I am both fascinated with and determined to build a self sustainable passive solar earthen home for myself. I think it's best to live for your dreams and for your community, not for a paycheck. Its ridiculous to think that we have the technology to build self sustainable homes all over the world, and the only thing stoping us is ignorance and politics.

Music, Movies, and Books

I appreciate and listen to all kinds of music

Books: All books written by Allen Watts (incredible philosopher), The House of the Scorpion by Nancy Farmer, Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk, Zen and the Art of Happiness by Chris Prentiss, All Calvin and Hobbes comics by Bill Waterson (these sculpted my childhood), The Art of Travel by Alain De Botton, Music, the Brain, and Ecstasy by Robert Jourdain, The Botany Of Desire by Michael Pollan and Micro by Michael Crichton to name a few.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took a 1000 mile road trip through Colorado with one of my best friends back in 2015. Easily one of the most amazing weeks of my life.
