About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Host awesome people from all over the world

ABOUT ME

Hey there,

I am the normal 29 year old British guy, I like football, beer and quirky things.

I lived in London for a few years now, both in Hammersmith and now Camden, but also grew up there as well, so I have a decent knowledge of the city. I have been in Melbourne for about a year now too so have a good understanding of the local area and what to do for fun.

I think I am a pretty relaxed, fun guy. I like meeting new people and talking about random stuff with them.

A few year's ago I went on a 2 month trip around the USA, which was epic! Me and a friend drove around California, then went to Vegas, Texas, New Orleans, Memphis, Canada, Boston and New York!! Best 2 months ever!

Only send me a couch request if you want to go out and do fun things and see the city, as I would love to show you around not just sit at home :)

PHILOSOPHY

Meet new people, enjoy new experiences with thus new people

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing made me really excited about hosting and I will host as often as I can, this won't be all the time but if my status says available it's because a couch is available for a limited time soon!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed around the USA and it was awesome, I made some great friends for life. Now I plan to host and I am excited about all the great new people I will meet and seeing all my new American friends again in England!

Interests

I love football, I have supported Liverpool since I was a child and used to play at least twice a week... sadly now I am a bit lazier.

Im big into music, my taste is very diverse, I like very different things from; Prodigy to the Pogues and Muse to Johnny Cash, love it all.
I LOVE festivals and have been to a few in the UK, such as; Reading, V and Bestival, also I went to Austin City Limits in Texas which was sweeeeet. I have been to Glastonbury a few times and that's pretty insane.

And of course I have an interest in travelling and I hope this will be the first of many great couch surfing experiences!

I've also just got into golf which is extremely frustrating but pretty fun on a sunny day with beer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music as previously mentioned, i think my favourite bands/ artists at the moment are; Muse, Prodigy, Soulwax, Johnny Cash, Blur, Jack White, Gorillaz, Hot Chip and Starsailor, Arcade Fire.. im sure there are many more but this is all I can think of at the moment.

I love Ricky Gervais sitcoms like the Office and Extras and that new thing with Karl Pilkington. But I am also heavily into Family Guy and How I met your mother at the moment - it is awesome!

I was never big on movies so I started going through IMDB's top 100 film list, so at the moment I am watching some classics! I felt it was necessary as I had never seen any of the; Godfathers, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars or Back to the Futures. If I had to give you a movie top 3 I would go with; Hangover, Rocky and Mike Bassett: England Manager.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stayed in a student house in New Orleans with 7 other couch surfers from all over the world and the 3 guys that lived in their house plus their friends. It was amazing...

Also the maid on the mist boat which goes under Niagara falls was a great experience as well, I recommend it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach... football, and I would love to learn some of the american sports like frisbee and american football, baseball! That would be cool.

I can teach people alot about the UK and the food, of course you can laugh at my English accent!

I'd like to learn some more French but also eat your local food. I like food.
