Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am already hosting people at my place in Beirut since May 2012, I had the opportunity to host people coming from USA, Canada, Germany, UK, Poland, Italy, France, Cyprus, Netherlands, etc

I join the CS weekly meeting from time to time and I try to help b telling surfers how to move in Lebanon and what to see

My first experience as a surfer started as well in 2012 where i surfed at 4 different places and countries

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All my guests were kind, nice and respectful. So far my only concern still the hygiene and keeping the house clean :)

Interests

jogging , hiking, listening to music, cooking from time to time- always looking for adventures
I collect coins and postcards so do not hesitate to help me growing my collection :P by adding postcards from your countries to my collection :P

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: comedy or social movies: e.g. Goodbye Lenin, Black swan, Al moldovar movies, documentaries, etc..
Music: coldplay, Fayrouz, arabic tarab music, hindy zahra, etc
Books: arabic books of Toufic awad, 11 minutes, veronika decides to die, biographies, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1- going for a ride on a scooter (motorcycle)in Paris
2- Spending the day in a farm in a village called Kreuzweingarten 10 min from Euskirchen (Germany)
3- Hiking in Texel island in Netherlands till the light house located in the north

cooking, listening to music, sharing funny stories and jokes with my hosts and surfers

Teach, Learn, Share

Teaching HOW TO MAKE FATTOUSH - Fattoush is a Lebanese salad that I always do for my hosts as well for my surfers i'm becoming very famous with that (check references) till an extent that some people are calling me Mr. Fattoush or the Fattoush guy (Monsieur le Fattouchier)

I would love to learn how to cook new recipes from different backgrounds or culture, as well I am interested to learn new languages, ideas, stories about any other country so feel free to share whatever you have
