my mission is to travel from Arcata California to los angeles by december 11 and enjoy/see this beautiful state

ABOUT ME

23 year old male who has never takin an adventure outside his home town until this year. Tree planting in Northern Ontario has led me to Northern California. (I will gladly share my story if you allow me to stay on your couch). I have booked a flight home from LAX. I am from what I've been told by US citizens a very stereotypical Canadian ie; polite, say "aboot, hoose, etc." and I love hockey! I love all sports though. I also get very excited by nature. Although I grew up in a big city my heart melts when I see the ocean sunset, beautiful trees and mountains. Recently been introduced to different rocks that this earth has made, now kinda crazy for "tigers eye". Im rambling, if you choose me to stay we'll chat. :)

PHILOSOPHY

I am at an age where I am still really discovering who I am as a person and what I really want out of life. I am constantly weighing "pleasure vs duty" I feel that there is a life I'm supposed to live and a life I want to live. During this short journey I have taken I think I am getting much closer to discovering that perfect balanced person within myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite movies are "comedies", I love love love to laugh. Although as I've grown I have found myself to be enjoying more serious genres like "documentaries". My music tastes have generally been "Classic Rock" and "Hip Hop", but like movies, as I have grown my ear pallete has changed. I used to have bitter feelings towards electronic music but I think I finally understand it because I am diggin it!. I love the sounds of classical imstruments most of all; piano, violin, sax aphone just to name a few favs. When it comes to books I will be honest and say I do not read novels often. (I like my newspaper). Maybe its because I'm a child of the technology generation and constantly need stimulus. (really thats my excuse). When I do read its often biographies but I still get bored. I just finished reading "waging heavy peace"-Neil Young. Right in the middle of "on the road"-Jack Kerouac.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am starting to seem lame and boring as these boxes continue I think :(. Wait! My coolest experience was definately the hike I did in Utah at Zion National Park called "Angels Landing" easily my coolest life exoerience!

Again difficult. I feel you can learn from me only by conversing with me. What I have to offer is practical hands on skills. General construction knowledge but mostly general home electrical.
