About Me

Free spirit.

I've worked as an English teacher for 4 years, took a break from it to follow my passion with art and I am currently studying a Bachelor Degree in Arts on the weekends and as my job I work as remote medical interpreter. I know two different fields, lets just say that one pays the bills and the other is my passion. I hope in the near future work as an art educator and have a folkdance company.

I'm very laid back, talkative, extrovert and very much friendly. I love to spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy kickbacks, bonfires, camping and home parties with family and friends, I try to stay away from the city but when I'm out in the city I like to go to bars or clubs to dance.

Friends and acquaintances consider me very outspoken, positive, optimistic and outgoing and I have to agree with all of those. I like to make people laugh either with my crazy jokes or with my kookiness. Sharing a laughs are one of the most memorable things in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to be able to make connections with the world and because I love my hometown so much , I want people to know it outside of the expensive luxurious tourism spots.
Oaxaca has a lot to give to the world and most important the people are very welcoming and warming.
Life is not always that exciting at times but I know meeting new people and sharing life stories can make interesting.

Interests

Photography
I took a course on photography, Its something I always wanted to learn and do. I enjoy the little things in life so when I grab my camera I take those little things that can have an emotional connection to the human eye.
I have been dancing folklore on and off, recently I participated on small "Guelagetza" in my area!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy different genres they go from rock to folk, but I mostly listen to Lo-fi music, reggae, indie rock, alternative rock and some Spanish genres.
Anything that involves suspense, mystery, drama and some sort of horror. I repeatedly watch cult movies Pulp Fiction, The Fight Club and The Shining.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working arts with kids. It really defines my passion for education and arts.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to teach local meals "Win the heart, through the stomach", sitting at the family diner and being able to share life while enjoy a family recipe.

Learn new ideas, new concepts, new culture. Learn to live with love with others.

Share traditions, culture but most important my home.
