Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a couchsurfer I have had the chance to host visitor, who soon became friends.

I've also thoroughly enjoyed staying with other couchsurfers while traveling - I love getting their take on the city / country and going to spots I would have otherwise never found.

Overall I am fascinated by the difference that staying with a local can make - and how you, as a host, can make that difference for a fellow traveler.
