Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by spreading the word about CS to new traveling minds. I host people when I can, and I travel and start with other surfers when I travel. Just FYI, if you don't personalize your request to stay with me I will not accept you. I think that this community is great and what keeps it going strong is the people who are looking to meet new people for their similarities or differences, not just for a free place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had many great experiences with CS! I always meet amazing people, most of the time they are available to show me around town and I get to live life like a local and learn about them as I teach them about my culture. Each experience had been amazing, and each unique.

Interests

I really enjoy learning about other cultures. I always try to learn at least a few words and phrases from other languages-it makes me feel like I am part of the new culture :)

I also recently got into painting furniture, it is a relaxing hobby of mine and I am getting better at it after each piece.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to this section I might just be the saddest case out there. I love watching movies and I love listening to music and reading books. But I am so clueless as to what is "cool" I kind of just listen to music as I go. I watch movies as Netflix suggest (always good ones ).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing that I have done in my point of view, was my decision to study abroad in Lyon for a year.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach anyone how to make a gourmet ramen....being a college student I leaned how to get creative with the 18 cent soups. I would love to learn more about different cultures. But more than anything I want to learn more languages, right now I am working on my French and starting on my Portuguese and Korean (alphabet for now)
