About Me

I'm an insanely curious person. Everything that's new, different, uncommon, is charming to me. I think I'm just eager to learn how different people and the world can be. Roald Dahl once said that we all should look at the world with glittering eyes, like if we were still kids and everything was new and exciting. It doesn't matter where I am in life, I always make sure to look at people and the world with extreme curiosity.

Apart from that, you must know that I LOVE dancing Scottish folk music and Italian trashy songs from the 90s. There was this monthly event in a pub in Glasgow where the DJ would put on super tacky Italian music and the songs were so bad that I had the best fun.

As for now, I've just come back from a solo trip in India (4 months) and Nepal (1 month) and, God, that was something! I'm quiet of a loner (and an introvert too), so India was a real challenge but the country has an incredible soul and it got under my skin since the beginning. I know it's gonna sound lame, but it was such a life-changing trip.

Interests

My biggest passion is probably cooking, whether it is to de-stress, to express joy or just for the pleasure of eating. The process of combining together multiple raw ingredients, all with different textures/smells/flavours, and create something new is just magic to me. Oh, and I LOVE spices! Most of the times I get all hyped up about it and the results are shitty, but it's still food, and food is rarely so bad it can't be eaten.

Apart from that, I do love weightlifting, although I stopped going to the gym almost 10 8 months ago to save all the money I could to then go traveling. But as soon as I'm all settled up in Australia, joining the gym will be one of the first things I'll do.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have the particular ability to like something and then forget everything about it, so it's quite impossible for me to have favorites books or movies. But Guillermo del Toro movies are definitely my number ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've had such bad luck that I've been to the hospital three times in India in the first 2 and a half months of my trip and still I decided to have surgery there instead of going back home. It was nothing life-threatening, but if you've ever been to most hospitals in India you know it can take up courage haha
