About Me

ABOUT ME
A tourist guide, a nature lover, art enthusiast that's who I am. I frequently accompany tourists to enjoy swmming, snorkeling, freediving, hiking, birding, island hopping.
I like eating spicy food.
When I do freediving, usually I go down to moderate depths of 3 to less than 10 meters to take pictures of coral reef, tropical fish and other marine creatures.
I often stay in tents in the jungle. Living and having fun in nature is better than sitting behind a desk in an office. Most of my adventures are staying the jungle by a river for a few nights. If you come to my town and meet me, I can arrange the trip for you. I have a pair of binoculars and a spotting scope to watch wildlife.
I like to be casual not formal. So, when you meet me just be relaxed, easygoing and unceremonious.
I make a lot of sketches of human figure, flowers and birds using watercolour pencils.
I am physically an active person. I jog or walk around soccerfield, walk in the jungle, swim in the river and do freediving at the beach and I like riding.
If you arrive in Sorong and want to meet up, you could contact me by whatsapp: +6281332245180 or my email: charlesroring@gmail.com. We could go birding or eating something around Sorong regency area.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently I visited Tambrauw regency in West Papua. I attended Traditional Ceremony for the Calling of Leatherback turtles. I saw the turtles coming up of the sea to lay eggs. It was a really fantastic experience.
Trekking in the wetland rainforest of Koroway tribe where I visited their tree house in South Papua. There, I met the indigenous people (who do not wear clothes) and stayed with them for several nights. I also enjoyed the ride in a motor boat along the river in the region.

Traveling to Raja Ampat
Traveling to Triton bay in Kaimana
Cycling in Ubud Bali
