About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live and let live.. and live everyday like it would be the last one

ABOUT ME

Soon after my schooling finished in Switzerland, I had my first taste of traveling the whole world. A few years later, I settled in South Africa. I got married there and had four daughters... after twenty happy years there, I moved my family back to Switzerland for a few short years. From there we moved to Canada where I am still living now. I am now divorced. I am very close with my four daughters, and we see each other often. After I retired I took some liking to restoring older mercedez cars. When I have friends and family over, we enjoy spending our time outside having big barbecues and sitting by the campfire until late at night.

PHILOSOPHY

I have had a very interesting life. Worked and traveled to over thirty countries in five continents. I am very interested to meet more people and listen to their stories and adventures. I am a good listener and am fascinated by what makes other people tick. These days I am still dreaming about traveling some more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am more willing to host others on their journey.

Interests

I like listening to my collection of old time records. I enjoy working outside and always like to keep myself busy and physically active. My daughters always say I can't sit still for too long. My TV watching is limited to a few hours a week. I have done lots of improvement on the house, both inside and outside. I am quite a good handyman! And have even learned how to restore cars on my own.
I make my own Bio-Diesel from used cooking oil for my 2 Mercedes
