About Me

Basically I have three interests: Music, Food and Energy Engineering.
So I like meeting different people who share my hobbies.

Caution for travelers. I refuse all requests for tourists in Barcelona. If you are interested in energy engineering do not hesitate to write and we can stay to share experiences and I can help you with tricks of the city.

PHILOSOPHY

Tourism is disgusting, tourists are fucking the world. I try to learn to be less tourist and to be more citizen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel to know different cultures and countries. The only way to truly know another way of life is to get to know people. CS allows you to connect people from anywhere in the world. It's a bad thing that a lot of people think CS is a couch store,

Interests

Traveling, meeting people, Live music. the local lifestyle and culture, learn diferents ways to think. See real world with my eyes. And of course taste food from diferents countries. Yum Yum!!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Alternative, indie, classical, country, folk, folk, folk from every where.
I love a lot of bands: Wilco, Beirut, Manel, My morning Jacket, Arcade fire, Band of horses and I want to attend to a Futurebirds Show in their home at South Carolina. (I went! heheeh) Each day I like more rock and old bands, and less "modern hipster an pretenders Indie Bands". Please if you are a freak about music and you like discuss about bands, just text me!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

--I recomend to visit Barcelona on September at the city fest! 20 to 24 of september! I invite you! -->(2015)

(2017)--> Since 2015 Barcelona is full of tourists who only want to see the Sagrada Familia Chatedral, Las Ramblas the Barceloneta Beach and Gaudi Park Well .
It is ridiculous, they are all tourist traps:
Cathedral under construction, dirty artificial Barceloneta beach, Las Ramblas full of people selling drugs, sex while steal you and the super full of people not free park.
Any place that is not advertised in a tourist guide or tripadvisor is a special place.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always learning new things. Languages, food, music, technologies, etc. But what I'm interested in learning are the traditions that are slowly losing. New generations are becoming less and less important traditions and many things are being lost.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am an engineer and that implies that I can bore you with hours and hours of conversation about how things work. Hahahaha.
I love cooking and whenever I travel I will light new dishes. They cook from a great Paella to a Padthai, a pizza or lentils. (But I do not know how to cook a Tortilla de Patatas -potato omelet-). My family has a bakery, I know a few gastronomic tricks.

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Bulgaria, Cambodia, China, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, England, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Romania, Singapore, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Spain
