We are a couple, Chris and Emily, living in Kalispell, Montana. We both work in the restaurant industry with Emily supervising at a bistro and Chris working at a ma and pop wine shop. We're both passionate about food and wine and enjoy traveling to taste new things in new places. Chris has his Level 1 Sommelier and is studying for his level 2, so there is a lot of wine around the house and we're always happy to bring a bottle to anyone we stay with.

We have two lovely cats and are always happy to stay with people who have pets as well. We can't quite have a dog in the size of apartment we have now, so are greedy for any dog time we can get ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One day it might be nice to have the means to stay in nice hotels, but at the moment camping and staying with friends has been our main means of travel. We've known about couch surfing for a while, but only recently started looking into it. It seems like an amazing way to make new friends, get to know the area we're visiting better, and be able to stay in town without driving way out to find a place to pitch a tent.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Always happy to share cooking and cleaning responsibilities. Chris loves to cook and likes to experiment with different cuisines. Nepali, Thai, and Spanish are his current interests. Other than food and drink, we're happy to share stories, a pleasant evening of hang outs, and Emily has approximately a million and one cat pictures to boot.
