ABOUT ME

I absolutely LOVE traveling. It's the one thing I have found that I can always find solace in while still keeping me on my toes. It is so easy to become content in our daily lives and forget that there is a world that craves to be explored. I make it a point to get completely lost as often as I can. I love the excitement that comes along with meeting a new place. Becoming acquainted, learning about your similarities and differences, and then leaving a piece of your heart for the city to hold forever. There is so much to see and I just hope I can continue to experience the joy and beauty that this amazing world has to offer.

PHILOSOPHY

As cliche as it is...live each day to its fullest. I have lost 2 people very close to me and both were very sudden. It taught me that if you wait to long you may never accomplish your dreams.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to go to local CSing events in Spokane when I am home. It is a great way to stay connected to traveling. When I am out on the road I always try to connect with local people. Everything becomes a better experience when you connect through Couchsurfing

兴趣

I am a volleyball player. I play on inter-mural teams all year round. I have discovered as I get older that volleyball is a huge release for me. I also really enjoy writing. It always helps me gain perspective in the hard times that this life throws at me.

Obviously traveling is a huge passion. I can remember being a little girl always talking about seeing the world. My parents thought I was crazy since neither of them have ever really traveled before. Now that I have started, I cant stop. I want to see everything that this beautiful world has to offer even if to some people it is not so beautiful. Why limit yourself to only what you know when you can grow and learn so much from other people in different cultures.

I love hanging out with my friends. Whether it be out dancing and having some beers at the bar or sitting at home listening to records drinking wine. They inspire me and surprise me everyday with their love and zest for life.

Music is one of my passions. I love being able to connect with the words of a complete stranger on such an emotional level. Blues, Rock and Roll, Alternative, and Classic Rock are all my jam.
I also try to be reading a book at all times. I love to read things that challenge my perspectives and even better, change them.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hitch hiked in Thailand after getting left by our cab driver that I found trying to steal from my bag....do not recommend this as a female, but would never take the experience back.

Went to a Full Moon party with 25,000 other tourists and partied till the wee hours of the morning.

Went bungie jumping in Salt Lake City and absolutely loved it! Can't wait to jump out of a plane next.

Back packed through 10 countries in Europe by myself and could never imagine having another experience like that in my life. Truly life changing.
