I have been couchsurfing for nearly 5 years. I have stayed with some incredibly generous people in New York, Colorado, New Mexico, and Canada. I have hosted guests from the North and South America, Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Australia. Every person has brought with them an interesting story, and some have remained friends to this day.

I love the couchsurfing community. I love the openness to new experiences and adventure. I love the stories and the conversations. I love being part of a community that relies on the kindness of strangers.

I love all music. I have studied classical music, and taught rap techniques. I enjoy top 40 and heavy metal. I play the drums, and wrote my masters thesis on music in the church. Honestly, I am open to anything.

I can teach you to play a djembe, and if you're really ambitious, I can teach you to make one. I would like to learn about your passion, and I can share my home and anything in it. As I am still new to Topeka, I can't offer much in local advice.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer an air mattress in a small private room, a couch or air mattress in the living room, a safe place to pitch a tent, a hot shower, some laundry facilities, and a welcoming environment.
