Hi, I'm Christine I'm 32 years old and from Austria in Europe (it's a little country between Germany and Italy). German is my native language and I think my English is pretty good. I'm currently studying business law and writing my masters thesis. There's a book signing from my favorite author and elsie fest (music fastival) within the same week so how can I not go to New York in Oktober. I think this is a opportunity of a lifetime.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm planning on going to New York all by myself this fall. I was hoping to find someone who can tell me what to see and tell be about things I can't find in my travel guide. Besides that I think it would be very nice to have someone to talk to after an adventures day in New York. And to be honest as a student money is always short.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite book series is the 'the land of stories' series by Chris Colfer. They are actually children books but really fun to read if you are interested in modern fairy tales. I listen to all kinds of music and I really love musical numbers and Disney songs. Beauty and the beast is my favorite Disney movie and besides that I enjoy Drama movies. I recently rewached 'the imitation game' and 'hidden figures' and I liked almost every movie with Christph Waltz.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love doing crafts, I've made all the paintings in the background of my profil picture and I'd love to teach you some of my skills. I've recently learned how to make soap and I'd like to share my skills with you. And of course I'd love to teach you some German.

I'm a really good backer and I think my cooking skills are pretty good too. I'm making natural soaps and I'd love to provide you with self made soaps and even teach you how to do it on your own. And of course I'd love to teach you some German.
