ABOUT ME

I'm a student majoring in Government. I also study German and History. Right now I have a part time job as a lifeguard and I also write for a history blog. I know a lot of obscure history facts! I hope to learn a lot about the history of places I visit.

I am totally okay with pets and children and am a non-smoker. As far as pets and children go, I have a cat (Brooksie) and I teach children how to swim at the pool that I work at!

PHILOSOPHY

I think a lot about why we are here on Earth, but I think it ultimately doesn't matter. As long as we live our lives by being the best we can be, and by treating others well, we'll be okay!

I just joined but I hope to have good experiences this umer! I think it will be really cool to host as well when I get my own place.

History, embroidery, storytelling, acting (I have acted for campus tv and for podcasts)

Also, kind of obvious but still, meeting new people and going to new places! I am so excited to start my travels this summer and try all the wonderful FOOD in the places I am going!

I like old movies like "Metropolis" and "Shop Around the Corner" but I also like modern superhero movies like "The Avengers" and "Captain America".

I haven't had a lot of time to read since I started university, but I used to love it! I like adventure books the best.

Through my last university I learned to fly a plane! That day was amazing- I still can't believe I actually flew a plane. There's a picture of me on that day in my photos.

I like to think that I have a good mental library of stories. I especially know a lot of interesting fairy tales and historical stories. I always love to learn new ones- let's swap!

Embroidering is a hobby that I love. I would also love to share it with you! Learning the individual stitches is easy, and you can combine them to make the most beautiful pictures.
