ABOUT ME

I am an Italian queer veggie photographer who's recently moved back to Rome after living abroad (UK) for ten years.

Deeply in love with photography, especially film photography, I like taking pictures of people with clunky old cameras.
People fascinate me and photography is the perfect way for me to stare at them without looking like a total creep (or at least, to be a little bit less creepy).

I'm a curious and I love meeting new people even if sometimes I can seem shy at first.

I'm really interested in what people have to say and in their stories and I enjoy long chats.

I live in "cloud cuckoo land".

Photography is close to my heart and it's my main interest, but I'm curious about all sorts of stuff and I'm up for pretty much everything (you gotta try something before deciding that you don't like it!)

I absolutely adore waterfalls, river and lakes and to swim there!

It's easy to impress me and I often get enthusiastic about places and pieces of art, basically I become so amazed that I start to repeat "that's beautiful!" for a long time with a massive smile in my face lost in deep admiration (just to let you know in case it'll happen).

Ah, yes, I tend to smile all the time :) (unless it's early in the morning and I'm grumpy)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosted twice in London in a squat and I really enjoyed the experience 'cause I got to know very interesting people, so I decided to join the community.

I've travelled around the Balkans for a couple of months and I met so many amazing hosts! Love you all!

I wanted to host as many people surfers as possible when I was studying, but unfortunately not many people wanted to be come to Hartlepool (I wonder why haha).

Interests

I tend to have very strong passions for a limited period of time and then I move onto something else; the ones above are the only ones that have survived through the years.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm really passionate about photography so I can teach how to use a wide range of cameras, from the 35 mm SLRs to the large format ones, and generally talk about it.
If you want we could go around taking pictures :).

I love to experiment with vegan cooking so I can share lots of recipe and tips and knowledge on "weird" ingredients. Being italian I can teach you how to "veganize" classic italian recipes like lasagne, pizza and parmigiana di melanzane.
