One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

🌲🌳🌾🛞 🌾🌳🌲
One day, I was walking in the forest with a friend. In the middle of the woods, far from the road, we found a car tire. We jokingly said that it looked like a treasure hiding place. We moved the tire and underneath there was... a rope. A rope whose two ends were buried in the ground, thus forming a small handle which stuck out of the earth. ➰ What wonderful treasure could this hide? 💵💎🪙

We pulled with all our might. Nothing happened. We removed some soil by digging with our hands and sharp stones but the rope still went deep. We went to get a shovel and a pickaxe and came back to dig. The ground was very rocky, it was quite difficult. We dug until nightfall. By dint of effort, we finally reached the end of the rope: there was nothing but dirt and rock. What a sweet waste of time.
