I'm a songwriter, producer, occasionally an actor and always a cheese and beer enthusiast. At this point none of these things have really taken off, so I work at a bar!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people and see stuff! And hopefully at some point I'll be in a place other people want to see, too.

Interests

I'm a writer and producer, I went to Berklee for voice, and I play a bunch of instruments semi-proficiently. My girlfriend and I run a vintage clothing store on etsy and spend a lot of time traveling about, both within the USA and abroad. We spent 3 and a half months backpacking around Europe and Couchsurfing around (she has most of the references from the trip), and are planning a trip to India and Southeast Asia currently. We like beer, music (all of it), cats, cheese, dogs, feeding birds, cooking stuff, vinyl (don't judge us), travel shows, and many more things.

Music, Movies, and Books

There is very little music I don't enjoy, I listen to most everything. Right now I'm listening to a lot of folk, indie-rock, and new soul/r&b/electronic stuff that is hard to put in a genre (James Blake etc?). I'm not a huge movie fan, but you can never go wrong with a good classic, or Star Wars. I used to love reading, I still do, but I don't do it enough. When I do, I enjoy anything that's written well; Life of Pi, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (The Man Who Hated Women), and The Time Traveler's Wife are some recent favorites. Currently working through East of Eden very slowly.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have an intense love of music, and I can play quite a few instruments. Maybe I can show you some new music you'll like or teach you a song. I also love to cook, and am happy to clean or help with little projects (or big ones I suppose).
