I'm living in Zurich, Switzerland, am originally from Germany and have lived a couple of years in Scotland and Australia (and before that in various other countries). After travelling extensively a couple of years ago, I'm currently busy earning the money for my next trips..

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although I hosted already plenty of guests on my couch it was never through couchsurfing.org but through recommendations from friends, colleagues etc. Therefore as soon as I have the opportunity again to host someone (e.g. my own place), I'll welcome any friendly traveller looking for a nice chat.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Until now i usually stayed at friends, ...or friends of friends. It has been always a nice experience and I met lots of interesting people/friends over the years. I hope there are more to come...

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

too many; watching the sunset over Bagan with it's million temples shining in a golden light or hiking through the jungle to see some rural villages...

difficult. i'm good in a lot of stuff but not really excellent in any partiular one. but i do really good cakes!
