About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make sure I would want to read the book written about my 20s.
ABOUT ME
Born in the sun-kissed hills of The Bay Area, I was blessed with an open-minded upbringing. Moving deeper into the hills and living in San Francisco proper for the first part of college, I was blessed with a social circle who's oddness, originality, and talent has yet to be rivaled. Landing in New York, NY for the rest of college, the inevitable rat race has blessed me with the meaning of "putting in work" aka "elbow grease" aka "hustling". I have taken all of Father Life's lessons so far to help make sense of my education, girlfriends, dreams, and supposed career.
PHILOSOPHY
"If you're going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It's the only good fight there is.”
- C. Bukowski
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Having just created this account in January, I have yet to participate, but would love to do so by meeting the exceptional strangers that must be out there and immersing myself in the strange corners they call their homes, immerse myself to such a deep degree that by the time I leave I have another place I feel I can safely leave my heart in other than San Francisco.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet, but oh.... Just there, I felt them coming just ahead.
Interests
Music embeds itself within me uninvited. I have learned to worship the muse, and happily task myself with songwriting, singing, learning exactly Elton John songs by ear, and studying the theory and tunes of the tunesmiths of yesterday.
As a child I used to devour books; now I simply leaf through whatever title my beautiful girlfriend has lent to me while on the A Train commute into Harlem.
I enjoyed skateboarding from ages 11-14.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At the age of 6 I was struck in the forehead with a launched plastic Lego piece by my older brother of 8. My forehead split open and a tremendous amount of blood poured out all over myself and our new carpet. Years later, Harry Potter was written. My lightning bolt Lego scar still remains on my forehead.
Teach, Learn, Share
Meet either your two index or pinky fingers at the tips at diagonal angles so as to form an upwards arrow, fingernails facing out in front of you. Place your fingers on your bottom lip so they just start to invade your mouth. Curl both your lips inwards so your fingertips meet with the bottom tip of your tongue. Slightly curl your tongue upwards. Slightly bend the angle where your two fingers meet so that a small space is created between fingers, bottom lip, and tongue tip in the shape of a triangle. While blowing outwards, modify the exact shape and size of the triangle until a hint of a pitch of sound is heard. You are at the infancy of a finger whistle. Once a pitch is heard, stick with that shape and persist until a clear tone can be made. Can also be attempted with the thumb and index finger of the same hand, so as to look like a New Yorker calling a taxi. Suggested: complimenting pretty ladies, calling attention in a football locker room, etc.
