About Me

Do what you want to do. Nothing more, nothing less.

I make music that doesn't exist yet and won't exist again. I make website that persist forever. Somewhere in between the improvisation and the permanence is where I live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the past it has been a delight to host travelers. Right now I need to do a little more travelling myself. And in the future, I plan to be doing both :)

Interests

If you can describe in detail the back end of how something works, I will be interested in it.

My personal flavors are in indeterminacy and system structures. "God doesn't play dice" - - we'll see about that.

Jazz and art have been very, very influential to who I am. While they are no longer a major part of my life, they are still expressed through my language and sentiment.

Mathematics and programming have been budding their way in, and I am so happy to be building such technical skills. The rigor of mathematics, the precision of programming, and the whim of mathematics are captivating.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I found out Memorial day weekend was in two days, I decided to go for a bike tour of Long Island. After 10 hours on the road, dawn to dusk, I set up a simple camp in Bohemia park. It was a lovely day, and a lovely weekend.

Teach, Learn, Share

I taught violin lessons for six years. I can teach you, too.
+ music theory
+ music history

I haven't taught programming yet, but I really really want to. If you want to learn how to make digital things, let's talk!

Conversation is the key that will unlock anything you want to know.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A balanced and engaging conversation, an interesting night out, musical performance or presentation.
