About Me

In 2016 I went on an epic 5 month trip across Southeast Asia with my girlfriend Sara. In 2019 we cycled New Zealand. We've had such enriching experiences couch surfing and want to continue paying the generosity forward.

As for what I do to make money: I'm a brewer. I also have a brewing company called Silly Sir Brewing that I founded with Sara. We don't have a physical space yet, but we've sold thousands of cans of our own brand across Ontario in LCBOs.

Please note: we have just one (relatively long) couch, and not a ton of space in our apartment, as well as a little doge named Ebi. There's a blowup mattress if you're a couple.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In 2012 I cycled across Canada with a friend and we stayed with over a dozen lovely human entities. The following summer, I did another cycling trip with a couple other friends across the UK and Ireland and met even more lovely souls.

In 2016 we backpacked Southeast Asia and were blown away with the incredible warmth and love we've shared with our newly made friends. The world of full of wonderful people who are inherently good.

Couchsurfing is the best way to see a country and to meet locals. It's a very rich experience. If you're doing it right, you're giving as much as you receive (and as a bonus you also save lots of money which frees you up to do cool other stuff)!

Please note: Sara and I will likely not be up for much on a weeknight, but who knows, send a request and we'll see.
