About Me

Live in paradise and love to help people discover what it has to offer. Interested in learning about different cultures and love meeting up with cool open-minded people from all over the world. I really appreciate and enjoy free spirits, creative minds and people that are always open to new experiences in their lives. And please be yourself no matter if you are introvert, extrovert, trans, gender-neutral, non-binary, black, white, straight, gay, Asian, Latino, Middle Eastern, [insert ANY nationality here], exotic dancer, nudist, naked, nude, priest, artist, refugee, documented or undocumented traveler.
People should not be judged on their sexuality, nationality or any other 'ality, other than their personality! Please also be open to other lifestyles or teach me new stuff. I'm Open :)

It isn't important how you look or what you do, most important is what you bring on your heart. In this house, everyone is welcome and can feel safe.

For whoever needs labels, I am a gay man but I am straight-friendly so it's obvious you should be LGBT-friendly. Don't worry, you will not become gay because you are being hosted by or are hosting gay people.
(at the end, it's not the fault of straight guys if they weren't lucky enough to turn out gay, right? So let's be tolerant 😂)

Just as long as you are a decent human being, or at least trying to be one. I'm willing to learn about other cultures and lifestyles (and participate). Whatever you bring I look forward to welcoming you so we can have fun, share stories or just explore. I'm very open minded and honest and expect the same.
Please remember that you probably are a total stranger to me and that your couch request is going to be my first impression of you. To help me choose the right surfers, please explain to me why you think we're a good match, and why I should host you

Please be the type of person who finds time to write a review/reference after being hosted. Really appreciate the time surfers take to comment on their stay 😎
Its the polite thing to do and says a lot about you as a person.

In general, I just want to live according to my heart and learn as much as I can. Learning about life and people who come into my life. Everyone brings me something different, something new, positive or negative, etc, which I really enjoy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and to help you enjoy this part of paradise. I also like to learn about people and cultures on a global scale. People are my passion and CS helps me meet the most interesting people from all over the globe and I've met the coolest surfers since I started hosting.
Extended stays can work, l have had a few surfers stay for weeks and really enjoyed their company, plus an extra pair of hands to help host was quite handy!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Have my Private Pilots Licence and get to explore NZ from the air occasionally.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you are a guest in my home, I treat you with great respect and will share all I have and just ask you to respect my space at the same time.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – Mark Twain

What I Can Share with Hosts

My time, company, meal and a drink or 2!
I offer my simplicity, my warmth and my friendship to the people who want to receive them. My home is your home, I do not offer you riches but I give you all the love that a person can give to their friends.
