Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Been on CS for the past 10 years or so, I am addicted! love it and use it every time I travel. I spread the word and convinced many of my friends to join this amazing website (at first they think i am crazy obviously- "so basically you stay with strangers that you never met, arriving in the middle of the night and leave all your stuff at their place??? they can kidnap/ rape/ take all your money..." but once they see I come back with new friends and great new experiences every time, they decide to give it a try.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Started using the website in South america, where I felt travelling in hostels with other tourists allows you to see the beautiful spots of each place but you cannot really feel the culture till you meet the locals on a more personal level and share a piece of life together.
