About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel the world and make new, lasting friendships

ABOUT ME

All about me! Well, for starters, my name is Dan. I grew up in New Jersey, which some would call the "armpit" of the united states, also perhaps the capital of the infamous "Jersey shore" type, but really it is a nice place. I attended college in New York City, but left in favor of working in an ambulance all over New York. I have been an Emergency Service worker (Paramedic) for nearly 9 years now and 6 of those have been serving the city of New York.
During this period I fell in love with medicine and it is my goal now to pursue a degree in Nursing and then perhaps obtain a doctorate. I love the interaction with patients and learning about the human body. I also love teaching and hope to one day become a professor of medicine.
My life though is not all about my work. If anything, my job has shaped me into who I am. I admire and respect EVERYONE because we all have our own story. My work has taught me that we all have something to offer, even the "bad guys".
My wonderful girlfriend Marisa has, in this last year, inspired me to travel the world, and now we are doing just that! We lived in Chile for 6 months and now are moving to Europe. We hope to explore all over Europe and meet new, great friends.

PHILOSOPHY

It is my goal to to always seek out adventure and allow it to take me wherever it may, to always be honest, to work hard, to help those who cannot help themselves, and to educate myself whenever possible.
