About Me

CURRENT MISSION

travelling Europe

ABOUT ME

24 year old student (computer sciences) living on the countryside

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS after I had heard from a friend about this great project. But since I'm living in a small village on the countryside in Lower Austria, only few travellers will find their way to my couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I cannot look back on Couchsurfing experience yet, but I'm looking forward to getting in touch with some couchsurfers when my girlfriend and me are travelling Europe this august.

Interests

reading (not only books, I'm interested in a lot of stuff in the field of science)
music (I play some instruments)
medicine (I'm working as paramedic at the Austrian Red Cross in my free time)
travelling (obviously ;)
cooking (I like to try new things out, although I'm not always pleased with my results. Once I even managed to burn noodles while cooking! However, I would appreciate if we could cook together.)
languages (while writing is no problem, speaking a language is often hard for me)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is one of my hobbies. I play various instruments:
baritone horn in a traditional brass band
piano/keyboard (I'm glad to have my own pianino at home)
some organ (when accompanying the church choir)
some accordion

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

...

Teach, Learn, Share

Before going on a journey I'm always highly motivated to learn the language of the country I'm travelling. If you are also interested in languages, I'm sure we could practice our skills and benefit both.
Lessons learned:
- In Barcelona they speak Catalan, not Spanish.
- It's hard to find Danes willing to speak Danish with foreigners.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Monaco, Poland, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In

Austria
