Overview
About Me
I was born in the US, grew up all around Africa, went to school in Australia, worked in Asia for a while, and have visited Europe several times. I can't seem to stay in one place for long! I'm an easygoing, active nomad, constantly planning the next adventure. I love to meet new people and try new things. One day I want to run a hostel on a beach!
PHILOSOPHY
"Don't take life too seriously, no one gets out alive anyway."
There aren't strangers in life, only friends you haven't met yet.
The Dalai Lama was asked what surprised him the most;
he said, "Man, because he sacrifices his health in order to make money.
Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health.
And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then he dies having never really lived."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet cool people in new places, as I explore the world on my motorcycle! The journey officially started on November 16, 2017. I plan to travel around the US for a while, before heading south to Central and South America over the coming years.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I got to grow up in Africa. It was pretty darn awesome! Where to begin? Petting cheetahs and lions, tent camping by hippos, feeding giraffe by hand, getting caught in sandstorms off the Sahara, biking with cape buffalo, grabbing crocs by the tail, seeing Kilimanjaro from both land and sky, snorkeling in the Indian Ocean, waking up every morning to a view of the Great Rift Valley outside my window... the list goes on!
