Everyone, I'm Fan Jialing or you can call me Darlene for your convenience.My first acquaintance of couchsurfing was four years ago by reading a book"travel on couch"written by Leo who seems to be the most experience chinese member in Couchsurfing. To be honest I was quite skeptical at first. Is it safe? Is it a good idea to trust a stranger and live in his/her home? But after seeing so many people have such a great time with their hosts during their travel, I feel like having my first step out and seeing different amazing people in the world.
I am actually an outgoing girl and easy to get along with and I am curious about different culture.

Don't want to be one of the typical tourists--eating in restaurant,sleeping in hotel,taking some pictures and heading to the next place. I'd like to spend my time with locals and talk with them,exchanging life experience and ideas.

When I was 12 , I played a game with a foreign teacher, he told a number (from 1-100)he had in mind to another teacher and let all the students guess . The one who with the closest number will get reward. And I looked him in the eye then said 11, and Louise was like WHAT !!!cause it was exactly the number in his mind!
Then after 8or9 years , I shared this story with my roommates in college. But they didn't believe it . So we tried this again,one roomie told the other one the number she had in mind. Then they were totally in shock when I spoke out the exact number .

Perhaps they were just lucky guesses but I still think it's amazing cause it was like 1/10000 chance that I got the exact number twice times.

I am not sure if it will work the next time , but I still have trust in my sixth sense!
