ABOUT ME: I am an artist and gardener in Detroit. In 2017 I bought a Queen Anne style workers cottage on Detroit’s near east side, close to Eastern Market and Midtown.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a participant who mainly hosts, I have lopsided perspective. While Couchsurfing has evolved over time it’s basic principles stay strong. My guests tend to be gracious, respectful and ready to share life’s experience. Sometimes when I used the platform I for surfing I've not been able to find a host, but had a great time with my host(s) in Pittsburgh and NYC?

Sometimes when I host I’m busy with work, but I’ll make time for my guests as l am able.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I feel like the CS community attracts great people. That being said, I appreciate good clear communication about arrivals. I also appreciate a heads up if you have sent me a request that I accept, but you find alternate accommodation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2011 I went whitewater rafting down the Colorado River, through the Grand Canyon with a small group of friends. Truly a magical experience
